Jacquelinne Padilla is the Director of Operations at Centro Hispano. She works directly with the CEO and members of the leadership team to set the organization's strategic goals and produce specific operational work plans to provide strategic leadership and direction to all Centro Hispano programs and operations. Prior to moving to Knoxville in 2016, Jacquie spent most of her career based in Mexico City working with major global corporations. She holds a Marketing degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Management from one of the leading universities in Latin America, the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
She started her early career in pharmaceutical companies like MSD Merck, COMBE as Junior Manager and Genoma Labs. After ten years of strategic marketing work in the pharmaceutical industry, she joined the international team at the School of Audio Engineering Institute (SAE) as Marketing Manager, where she helped to create strategies, procedures and coordinate logistics. She played an integral role in launching the school’s first online campus for Latin-American students, serving 54 campuses across the globe. After being promoted to the role of Executive Producer, Jacquie developed digital projects for commercial accounts. After six years with SAE, she was offered the position of Director of Corporate Events with Matatena Producciones, one of the largest venues of Mexico City. In this role she oversaw planning and budgeting for events ranging from 300 - 10,000 people. Her keen ability to plan and strategize was key in successfully conceptualizing and executing large events.
Jacquie moved to Knoxville in 2016, when her husband was promoted to part of the Dura-Line team, a subsidiary of Orbia. She began volunteering with Centro Hispano shortly thereafter, and was quickly asked to join the staff as an official member of the team. A cherished member of the Centro family, Jacquie brings both love and order to the Centro Hispano office. In her free time she enjoys going to the park with her dog, Dexter, playing golf and sharing her Mexican culture and cuisine with family and friends.
